Product Manager (m/f/d) - North America

Our Group consists of the B2C platform Babyartikel.de (KP-Family) in Aschheim and the B2B business EURET, as well as the now 100-year-old product brand Hauck, located in Sonnefeld.  In total, the group consists of 300 employees who are looking forward to welcoming you to our team.

You will be responsible for managing the product portfolio, driving new product development, and ensuring the sales performance of existing products. This role requires a proactive, independent, and open-minded individual with a strong background in product management and a passion for the children's products industry. If you are passionate about children's products and have the drive to lead our product portfolio in North America, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Your Tasks

• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of products, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful introductions.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor the economic success of individual products, plan updates, and manage end-of-life scenarios.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to support sales and identify new opportunities.
• Innovation: Develop new products and innovations that meet market needs and company goals.
• Marketing Support: Create compelling marketing stories for new products and support sales with market and competitive analyses.
• Project Management: Manage product-related projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Build knowledge of relevant norms, coordinate with regulatory bodies, testing institutions, and patent attorneys.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product teams in Germany and Asia, as well as development and production partners in China.
• Trade Shows: Represent the company as a product expert at trade shows and industry events.
   

Your Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management and at least one year of experience within the baby and toddler industry.
• Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and open-minded with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Technical Expertise: Ability to translate market requirements into technical specifications.
• Travel: Willingness to travel within North America and to China as needed.
